EMBO Conference: Translational research in cancer cell metabolism


OWL is sponsoring the EMBO Conference on “Translational research in cancer cell metabolism”.


The main aim of this conference is to bring together cancer researchers to present their work in the context of its monitoring or manipulating metabolic alterations in cancer. This 3-day conference will cover established and emerging topics in the field, with an emphasis on translational research.


Covered topics include autophagy in cancer, technological advances in the evaluation of metabolism, metabolic wiring in cancer, emerging concepts in cancer metabolism, organismal metabolism and cancer and novel therapeutic perspectives in cancer metabolism.


When: 4 – 6 October 2016.

Where: Palacio Euskalduna Jauregia, Bilbao, Spain.
